ABOUT COURSE
TAM-P is a NREMT Review Course: Real-World Training for Real-World Situations
The tactical environment is not for the faint of heart or the ill-prepared. Tactical medical training is essential for ensuring life-saving care is delivered when and where it matters most. Prompt and competent medical intervention can mean the difference between life and death in high-risk scenarios. Tactical medicine enhances survivability and operational success in austere, dynamic environments by equipping medical providers with the critical knowledge and hands-on skills needed for effective treatment.
Goat-Trail Austere Medical Solutions (GAMS) is committed to delivering cutting-edge tactical medical training through its Tactical Austere Medical Practitioner (TAM-P) Program. Developed over two years, the TAM-P Program is continuously updated yearly to integrate the latest evidence-based practices in tactical and medical emergencies. This ensures that training remains relevant and effective and aligns with the ever-evolving best practices in prehospital, austere, and high-risk medical care.
The TAM-P Program is CAPCE-approved as a review course for Paramedic, AEMT, and EMT and meets NREMT recertification standards, making it a valuable resource for providers looking to meet continuing education requirements while refining their tactical medical skills.
Designed for EMS, fire, law enforcement, and first responders, the TAM-P Program delivers a comprehensive blend of online learning and in-person, hands-on skills training. This course can be customized to meet the specific needs of military units and agencies seeking cost-effective solutions for tactical medical refresher training and practical application.
Tactical medicine is not just about saving lives, it enhances overall mission effectiveness. Medical emergencies in high-risk environments can compromise operational readiness and endanger personnel. Training in tactical medicine ensures that responders are prepared to stabilize casualties, sustain operations, and maintain force effectiveness under extreme conditions.
At GAMS, our motto is clear:
"Real-World Medicine for Real-World Situations." Investing in medical training is mission-critical if your agency operates in a high-risk environment.
